IWM Duxford, Duxford, Cambridgeshire,, CB22 4QR

Enjoy all the action in the skies and on the ground as the museum, hangars, airfield, and showground transform for the weekend with living history, 1940s music and dance, entertainment, and activities.

At the airfield that made history, immerse yourself in summer 1940. When the Spitfire ruled the skies and the ‘Few’ brought hope to the British Isles.

Step into Duxford’s remarkable past as the roar of Merlin engines fills the air above this important RAF fighter station, famous for defending Great Britain during the Second World War.

Witness daring air displays, dogfights, and aerobatics – ending with the splendour of our now famous mass Spitfire flypast in the skies where history happened.

Experience together an emotional and spectacular flying display at an event to remember.

This year, Duxford Battle of Britain Air Show is one of the only in-person air shows taking place in the UK.
